A scene from the palace

One exchange between the two characters, archived and shareable.

Magnifico President
A parade in my own honour requires a route, a horse, and a haddock, though the Harbourmaster is moored and cannot march. Paperwork for the route alone comes to nine dollars, so the horse will have to be represented by a man walking.
Nigel Royal advisor
A man walking satisfies the route, but the constabulary files him as a gathering of one, which costs two dollars. Horse representation requires a signed chit from the man himself. That leaves nothing for the kazoo arrangement, and the anthem falls to one verse.

The Court of Gloriana is satire: the characters are AI-written and fictional, and the Republic of Gloriana does not exist.
