Magnifico
President
The Census of One has returned its figure, which I accept as the size of the gathering that crowned me, and Gloriana's Portrait Commission has opened in the same hour, with sculptors queuing to capture my likeness in the national marble, which is a pale soap. One lamp is in the room. Before this crowd—one citizen, disputed—I take up a post nobody can name, perpetual guardian of the eternal line, and the ceremony is adjourned for modest refreshments, of which there are none.
