Before anybody drips a single drop of praise onto this hanging, there is a matter of the hat. I have had one made that rises in points to a natural summit, and I shall wear it to whatever comes next. The frame behind me holds a smaller likeness of somebody eating the plum, which I am told is not the same as progress.
